Whenever you get the chance to eat food from a different culture you can count on having a good experience. In this picture you can see Adam digging into a typical Vietnamese meal consisting of pork, vermicelli, spring rolls and, his favourite, dumplings.

Dustin Eating

One of the benefits of interacting with other cultures is the delicious food that they have to offer. This was certainly true for Dustin on his recent trip to Belgium where he enjoyed frieten and waffles. The Vietnamese food at Vietwest was no exception. Dustin was even able to eat his entire meal using only chopsticks; a difficult but worthwhile experience.

Yummy Dumplings

This is a picture of dumplings. They are made of pork which is wrapped in bread and then deep fried. It comes with a special sauce that is unknown but has a spicy flavor to it.

For this assignment were asked to pay attention to how time functions in different cultural settings. This is difficult to answer because there was no one else around when we ate. We practically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Maybe they are not as concerned about eating their meals during the noon hour?
